BeWell@Work

We offer Mental Health First Aid Training Courses to support employees and employers in spotting the signs of mental illness within their organisations.

Mental Health Training and Support for Businesses

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a training course designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to assist someone who is facing a mental health challenge or crisis. The training equips you with the ability to recognise and take appropriate action in response to signs of mental illnesses.

MHFA training is becoming increasingly important as awareness grows about the prevalence of mental health issues in the workplace. BeWell@StepOne for Business offers Mental Health First Aid Training to businesses across Devon to support employees and employers in spotting the signs of mental illness within their organisation and signpost to the appropriate agency.

If you’re interested in learning how to support your teams and promoting positive mental health, consider signing up for one of our Mental Health First Aid courses today.

Benefits of MHFA Training for your Organisation

Our courses can support your organisation to:

  • Break the stigma of talking about mental health issues in the workplace

  • Encourage more open conversations and greater understanding of mental health

  • Provide people with the tools and confidence to have helpful conversations with their colleagues

  • Signpost people to access the support they need and encourage them to take steps to control of their wellbeing

  • Promote a long-term positive culture across the whole organisation, where employees recognise that both their mental and physical health are supported

Teaching from experience is always the most effective way to communicate and this was done in a most effective manner.
