We are excited to announce that local choir group, Cantilena, will be hosting a fundraising event, 'The Joy of Art and Song', in aid of Step One.
Each year Cantilena nominates a local charity to support through their concerts, and this year we are very fortunate to have been selected as their chosen charity! We are very grateful for Cantilena’s support and it’s also their very first performance since lockdown so they are looking forward to celebrating and expressing what helped them to keep going during a tough year.
Who is Cantilena?
Cantilena is a registered charity (charity no 900021) and a vibrant four-part chamber choir, formed in 1987 with a reputation for singing a diverse range of choral music, from Bach to The Beatles. They currently have 30 talented members, led by their multi-talented musical director, Hannah Stephenson. Cantilena is based in Broadclyst and sings at venues across Devon. They have even ventured to Montenegro, Berlin, Brittany and Sweden!

If you are free on Saturday the 9th of October, please go and show your support at Broadclyst Church from 11 am-4 pm where Cantilena will be performing several songs. We have no doubts that it’ll be a wonderful way to lift your spirits, reduce anxiety and be part of something special.
