BeWell this Christmas with Step One Charity
At Christmas we often think of people coming together with their loved ones.
Sadly, many people across our communities do not have this opportunity and could spend the festive season alone. With so many images of the Christmas community ideal, it can be easy for people to compare experiences and find themselves in a downward spiral of mental health.
How can you support us this Christmas?
This year, Step One Charity invites people to share the festive period with each other by building community networks, running Peer Support Groups and supporting charities like Step One so that these groups can grow and expand throughout Devon. Our BeWell@StepOne Peer Support Groups create safe spaces for people with mental health problems or who are experiencing isolation, creating a sense of friendship, belonging and purpose in an open and friendly space.
Can you help us raise £1,000 for our Peer Support Groups this Christmas?
Whether you donate £5 or £500, every little bit helps!
Ginny, one of Step One’s Peer Support Group volunteers,
shares her story of how these groups have helped her.
By making a donation to Step One Charity, you are helping people like Ginny to rebuild their identity at a time when it can be at its most vulnerable. This Christmas, please help us to create safe and warming spaces for people with mental health problems in Devon.
Could you benefit from joining our mental health management courses
