Men’s Wellbeing Walk

Our new weekly Men’s Wellbeing Walk is specifically aimed at men to help support their mental health and wellbeing.

Here at Step One, we strongly believe that reaching out for support is a strength, not a weakness, especially during these undoubtedly uncertain and challenging times.
In-light of this, we have launched our Men’s Wellbeing Walk in association with Bay Walks, Ramblers Wellbeing Walks and Active Devon. that will run every Tuesday at 10.30am starting from The Community Hut behind St Paul’s Church in Preston, Paignton.

This group will allow men to come along and feel the benefit of getting out in the fresh air, connecting with others and enjoying the positive effect that spending time outside in our wonderful environment can have. Increasing our activity levels and connection with others can be a key strategy in lifting mood and reducing anxiety, and joining a walking group is a great way to start, one step at a time!

If you come along for the walk, it will also give you an added opportunity to check out our popular Tuesday Peer Support Group, a group that we run from 10am to 1pm at the same venue each week which typically involves crafting and chatting.

To find out more, contact Dom at Dominic.Bryant@steponecharity.co.uk, or please feel free to just turn up on the day.
Please remember to bring suitable footwear and clothing and if you do have any physical health conditions that may be adversely impacted by a 40-minute walk, then please check with your GP before participating.

We look forward to meeting you!
