We understand that people can be nervous about joining online groups and discussing mental health issues. So, we've put together a course spotlight to make things a little easier when you're deciding which of our courses will be best for you. Here is a more information about our Self-Awareness Course which starts 27th of January from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm.
Self-awareness means being aware of one’s own character and feelings. Making sense of who you are in the world involves a good level of self-awareness; knowing your values and how your strengths and weaknesses can support you or limit you in your life.
Can you tell me a bit about this course, who it’s aimed at and what it aims to achieve?
In this 4-week course, you will:
- Exploring the Concept of self-Awareness
- The Importance of self-care
- Positive Consequences of Self-Awareness
- Negative Consequences from a Lack of Self Awareness
- Techniques on how to Improve Your Self-Awareness
- Emotional Awareness
Why should I take this course?
Life can become very busy, and we tend to forget to take time to reconnect with ourselves, to look at our values and priorities. This course offers you an opportunity to ‘STOP’ and re-evaluate.
This course is aimed at those who want to gain a deeper understanding of their feelings and dissect their emotions. They are also looking at ways to rediscover the things they enjoy and how they can re-include these back into their life.
Key takeaway from this course: Self-awareness doesn’t stop you from making mistakes, it allows you to learn from them.
