Pam started with working with Step One last summer. Now she feels more able to take trips out from her home.
Pam said: “Due to health reasons, I felt unable to leave my home and relied heavily on my daughter for support for shopping and trips out. However last summer, Step One Charity support workers started visiting me and assisting with trips out and my shopping trips.
Getting out twice a week with my regular supporters has really increased my confidence and reduced my depression. My support workers are very caring and understanding and this has given me a new lease of life.”
