Enabling Community Support Worker

Our Enabling Community Support Workers support people in Devon who have autism spectrum conditions, learning difficulties, mental health concerns or a dual diagnosis to grow independent living and work skills.

Through a creative and responsive approach you will build relationships with the people we support to improve their health and wellbeing and enable their emotional, physical, intellectual and social needs.

A typical day could be supporting with medical appointments, getting out and about, having a coffee or supporting with life skills such as searching for work, managing your finances or/and cooking. Your day will usually end between 4pm and 7 pm with rotational weekend work. No two days are the same, which makes this a challenging and rewarding role.
