Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Closing Date: 20/09/2019
We are seeking a qualified RMN to provide comprehensive and effective recovery support which enables people to take control of their future.
Our Acute services are commissioned by NHS South Devon and Torbay Clinical Commissioning Group. Cypress Hospital provides a nurse-led acute step-down service for people who are in or recovering from a mental health crisis. We work closely with acute wards and crisis teams in the south Devon area to provide step-down and crisis short-term goal-based admissions.
Our service model is to step people down from an acute ward and provide recovery goal-based interventions and support to help them back to the community. We also take admissions from the community with people in crisis to provide the support needed to prevent an acute ward admission.
We work closely with people and help them to develop and achieve their own goals within a highly recovery focused multi-disciplinary environment. We are looking for positive and professional nurses who are enthusiastic and highly motivated to ensure that people receive skilled recovery practice to an exceptional standard.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a truly innovative and progressive team and service.
We are happy to offer you:
- competitive annual leave entitlement
- annual NMC registration fees remunerated
- supportive preceptorship programme
- opportunities for Continued Professional Development
- support with revalidation
- secondment opportunities
- beautiful south Devon location with good transport links
- relocation package considered for the right applicant
If you are enthusiastic to be in a role where your expertise will be valued and developed and you can genuinely make a positive impact on people’s lives, please see the attached job description for more details.
